It was not a struggle – it was awesome – far less expectation to be up on the latest technological gadget, meeting up with people speaking face-to-face rather than constant texts and phone calls, people were on time because you had to be responsible for yourself and others as you couldn’t just phone if you were running late, there was a stronger sense of community and we went outside and to different places to have fun; we weren’t pinned to a machine everyday all day long, sitting around a table not speaking because we were looking at social media. Life was sweeter.
